what if the compass app only detected keyboard inputs and was set by the user and had zero interaction with EQ... would it be 'legal'? I mean all it's doing is displaying a symbol based on how long you pressed the A or D keys..

What I see here is Chewie has become supremely rustled and is now devoted to rules lawyering. Worst levels of emotional immersion I can possibly imagine for someone in EQ.

Something the hypocritical Chewie has accused many players of in regards to PnP and other anti-grief rules (the lawyering).

You want it to be simple. Learn to play better and PvP more. Getting outmaneuvered in guk by some kid with a new PC and a map on the 2cnd monitor? Smoke less.

Keep at it you'll just get outmaneuvered by the professional lawyers. Chewie only at attourney level IMO.

You do realize how incredibly insulting that sounds don't you? Both to the guides who volunteer their time and effort and to the GMs who took spend time selecting and monitoring those guides (not to mention building and maintaining the server).

Have you ever considered that maybe they have better things to do than respond to your self-generated crisis? Or the fact that if the devs responded to every idiot who demanded their attention all it would do is make a whole lot more idiots demand their attentions.
