Reporting multibox behavior

All the boxing threads are fun to read.

IMO the people that think majority of the IP exemptions are for boxing are most likely wearing a tinfoil hat to protect their brain from aliens.

There are ALOT of IP exemptions out there. I rarely come across any suspicious boxing activites and with the small number of people online and the number of IP exemptions you would expect to see that sort of activity frequently. Most of my friends in game, as well as myself, agree that there isn't alot of obvious boxing going on.

Maybe some people are UBER LEET at boxing and can move and type at the same time but I doubt 99.999999% of people that are going to box are that good at it.

I seem to remember in classic, before boxing was allowed or even known about, that you couldn't go more than 5 minutes without talking to, or bumping in to someone, that played with their wife/brother. I dont see why that is any different here.

Just my two pennies.

To the OP:
Keep reporting it. Boxing will ruin the game and the GMs will do what they can about it when provided adequate proof.

I was watching a group that took up a camp with what looked like a boxed players. They didnt have room for two more. Me and my friend both thought they were non-English speakers. When they took off we chatted a second about it. The only reason it is even an issue is because one person took up a camp they could not solo.

I asked here because it appeared important to the admins. I think part of being a good resident is reporting issues like this to the admins. When I see a bum in my neighborhood looking in peoples windows I call the cops, I don't think for a second that I should ignore it and let the cops catch the guy looking into windows on their own.

Good analogy.

Everybody report what they see, and eventually it won't even be worth trying to box.

My post was really more of a direct response to the one I quoted, sorry for the confusion.

As others have said, I agree we should all report odd behavior.

I just jumped in because some pretty wild generalizations were getting tossed around.

Funny, and were exactly do you think the FDIC gets that money? Some of the money comes from the banks, which is passed on to the customers as higher fees. And some is tax money which guess what? comes from people who work and pay taxes. So do the math. You rob a bank and you are stealing from everyone who is hard working, pays their taxes and uses the banks services.

I know exactly where it comes from, but thanks for the lesson. Id rather steal $1 from everyone than $300,000,000 from one person.

Either one makes you a thief. If spreading the theft out makes you think you're not a thief, then you're lying to yourself, which would also make you a... liar.

The FDIC receives all of its funding from member banks. But yeah, robbing banks is bad.
