I think we're getting off track here.

What I'd really like to accomplish is for 2-3 more guilds to start on the server because pvp will be rampant then. An actual economy will be borne, and the server will flourish.

This is my dream, and I'm willing to put in the work to make it happen.

I want to try and be supportive and tell you to follow your dreams but I think we've all been around long enough to know your dream is already dead in the water

Split up what you have to correct the balance of power. Deguild everyone, choose a handful of guild leaders, and do draft picks for everyone else. Then maybe those things will happen on their own.

What? Everyone deguilds, pick 6 guildleaders, and take turns picking people like you did in Jr. High gym class dodgeball. 6 equally balanced guilds unless you suck at picking people.

To prove that point, I'm going to create a new character there shortly, a barbarian shaman named Carebear, and I'm going to be whacking bunnies just outside Halas.

I bet I can do that for more than 15 minutes without being griefed.

You could do that for a few weeks without being griefed. Red is an empty server, when they come into threads and say things like "come to red you can just kill them and take the camp" what they really mean is that nobody is "come to red, all camps are open"
