I could have responded to many things you said but this one makes me lol a bit. Your right. A lvl 10 monk 100k+ geared can have just as hard of a time as a monk with 200pp worth of gear if they were retarded or were missing enough fingers required to use their keyboard.

RMT is classic as fuck, bro. Lol, and EverQuest is by no means a 'Pay to Win' game, haha.

It's ludicrous that any of you would even say that. You can be twink as hell in this game and still have just as hard of a time as anyone else. How do I know this? Because when I started here I had nothing, leveled my characters up to mid 30's to quest for their class armor with nothing other than bronze armor, then decided to buy a small amount of plat to help speed up this process with other characters. Turns out that having above avg gear for low levels doesn't help out as much as you haters are making it seem. How do I know this? Because I have done the grind with and without good items.

Shit is still the same, either way. The only difference is that RMT eases the pain slightly.
So just because you suck all the time, it should be ok to buy plat? If it doesn't make a difference then why do it?

I see RMT as an inevitable evil. As soon as people place a value on something, then market forces will determine some sort of exchange rate. Of course it is going to happen and will continue to happen.

But, just as money laundering is illegal in the real world, RMT is illegal here. Nobody is going to stop you from doing it, but you sign up for the consequences as soon as you do.
Exactly. There are so many examples of this that we could compare but in the end it's all the same and is just a risk that people are willing to take. I am by no means trying to defend my self, I knew the risk from the start and I will take the repercussions of that choice like a man. I am just giving my thoughts on this whole subject because it's quite the topic right now.

Hardly. I have always supported RMT, for any game. Why? Because it's not a big deal. Btw, even if I hadn't RMT on this server, I would still support those that did. One of my accounts getting banned hardly has me vouching for RMT. I have been buying small amounts of currency in games for years now, and I always will. More than likely I won't here again since I have openly came out as a RMT and will surely be banned, but that's alright.
I don't think you buying plat hurts the server. It's people you buy it from that hurts the server. Suppliers like platlord don't play the game and farm plat. Most of their plat is earned by outright cheating like duping or hacking accounts. Platlord probably sells currency in other games too not just p99.

The people that buys from him enables the cheating to take place. Without a market people like platlord wouldn't exist.

My WoW account got hacked one time by the Chinese. They vendor'd everything I had. Didn't even bother with trying to auction anything. Then xfer'd the gold to a mule account and sold it to a buyer. The whole process probably took 30 minutes.

A fungi is the only item that would be applicable to your argument. Not even gonna bother with this one.

Yo there's some serious fucking pixel sperging going on in this thread

I'd say "go the fuck outside" but after 5 years it's apparent none of you are gonna do that.

Lol, please, show me proof of these MMO's that were destroyed by RMT.

I work my ass off for my money, 60+ hours a week. When and if I find the time to play I still like to be competitive or a contender. In my eyes that's just the same as working my ass off in-game, except I am putting my time in to the REAL world. If I decide to spend some of my hard earned cash to help me get to the end of a game at a faster rate, so I can compete, then what's the big fucking deal?

This isn't Pay to Win, it's Pay to be able to play.
But all you got was a one way ticket to palookaville.
