It was in beta. I'm not sure why I was banned. I was a level 3 or 4 bard and I was banned a couple seconds after saying my first message in /ooc.

Eh, well sorry not sure why that happened.. I would look it up but the beta logs were wiped.

I will probably give the server a shot. I enjoyed LoZ but I joined way to late and most of the action was in the past. I'm stuck at level 54 on here and I lost interest.

One question about rogues on your server while you are responding. Is hide/sneak detected by seb mobs or does it work against all mobs regardless of normal see invis?

From the code perspective rogue hide works as long as you remain behind the mob (does not matter if they see invis or not or undead)

a hobbit should be able to sneak past a dragon innately as we are quite small and nimble.

threfore a halfling rogue should be able to sneak/hide past gms or gods if they wanted to.

I actually read it wrong:

rogues sneaking and hidden will be able to roam around freely (don't have to be behind the mob), if only sneaking then you are ok behind a mob (it acts as if you were invis).

Yeah I was just referring to zones like Seb. You used to be able to hide/sneak past mobs in seb but not with just regular invis on here but then they changed it. Now they all see through invis and hide/sneak.

There is an option for mobs to see hide, but I don't think that our mobs are turned on for that (checked seb golems and some frogloks). Even if that 'see hide' option was on, if you are sneaking and hiding (anywhere) or sneaking (behind the mob) you are ok, this see hide option does not apply.

Right now the server is just the old world zones just so you know.

from what i remember from LoZ a rogue sneaking used to be immune to aggro from everything in the game

awwwwww yeahhhh, hipponipple reborn on rolfron zek. I kind of wanted to be on the evil team and will have the hurdle of being a dark elf, but I guess Salem does okay with it.
