I'm not sure about the whole cast, I sure hope not! It's gonna be bad enough without Macconaghey, not Woody Harrelson too! Can't wait for tonights episode.

Loved this show. I knew I'd find an official thread for it somewhere on here right after I just spiced up my avi and signature with some TD glorification. Rust Cohle is the man.

Also I highly recommend checking out "Galveston" The novel by the writer of this show. It's a great read & the main character Roy has a lot of similarities with Rust.

i was completely shocked how they was able to finish it that last episode with 1hr .. amazing series i cant wait for the next season and which class A actors they are gonna use

Or that ending to I think Episode 5 when they dress up like cops & go try to jack the gang bangers. Man that was an incredible few minutes of footage right there. This show really got me enveloped in it's character development as well because it was so damn rich with the dialogue. I love Rust's philosophical rants. Amazing stuff.

Yeah man complete different cast, and narrative. It will be a whole other set of peoples drama, reality with the "True Detective" being the only subjective theme still but as far as continuance from season 1? Nope. The writer/creator Nic P has spoken about it.

Just watched the first episode. Couldn't make it the whole way through. McConaughey's steven seagal impersonation isn't working for me.
