I know its free and i shouldnt complain but the issue isnt really that it is down its not knowing whats going on.

We are not talking about a huge enterprise like SOE here we should be able to have a communication going on between the staff and the players, hell i am sure some of us would be ready to help if possible.

Obviously server went down for something expected to be very quick, issues arose and now it's taking longer. Very common during code release/hot fixes etc.

Perhaps staff should come and give you the play by play on what is going on (that very few would understand) instead of actually solving the issue and bringing servers back up ASAP.

when its up its up! its free to play =) i might venture outside and see the gloomy UK weather.. or prehaps il finish some work for tomorrow...... NA im gonna log into live and see how gimped my chars are after not being touched for 5 years!

I think people posting here feel like they're self entitled to 24/7 server up time. I'd bring the servers down at least twice a week to combat this, without server repops.

right before a repop imo, or even better 30 seconds after.
