All it takes is one look.

One look.

You see what they did to Freeport and you can never play EQlive again.

Never again. Never forget. Never forgive.

PoP was best raiding expansion to any mmo ever made (TBC 2nd) and anyone who says otherwise is just a butt hurt nostalgic fanboy.

While I appreciate you being considerate of the physical condition of my derriere, I'd have to respectfully disagree.

Why don't they ever experiment with pvp servers?

Never play a live server guys, you can literally FRAPS people popping into zones with MQ and the GMs don't give a single fuck

I read the log and I don't see anything that leads me to believe they're doing anything more than just asking questions.

This actually would be a cool idea if they would truly put in half the work the guys do here at P1999. I feel that is a problem with SoE. I mean it's kinda silly that guys here can pretty successfully put together a classic server, but SoE can't/wont? They even said it themselves, "well actually this wouldn't take much effort". [regarding this PoP locked idea] Well you see that's the root of the problem fellas... I find it funny that they think the effort put into an official TRUE classic server wouldn't be worth it and "there isn't enough interest"... yeah right son. You know how many people are going on these videos and wishing they could have this more than anything? Well those are the people we need to inform about P99 because the devs and GMs here actually have some brains.

PoP was actually really bad and probably drove the final nail into the coffin that was EQ. I mean SoL was atrocious, so it's natural some people think PoP was good by comparison.
