I charmed him a few times when I was messing around with my enchanter on eqmac who was level 45ish. He was resistant, but not nearly like those zam reports claimed.

Regardless, A druid would need to be quite lucky to keep him charmed and not die to lodi.

Edit: That alla thread made me realize he's basically 100% mr except for dire charm. I realized that I didn't charm Coroduth. I charmed Keref Spiritspear, who can do most of the work against lodi.

Druid shouldn't be able to take lodi out.

A smart shaman can solo Lodizal. And maybe a totally boss enchanter.

Also at Tecmos, yea PotG will be expensive for awhile I'd guess. The heal is vendor sold so that's no problem. But the spell table is much more limited than Kunark boss spell tables:

Bard - V2 Haste
Cleric - Aegolism
Druid - PotGrove
Enchanter - Gift of Brilliance
Magician - Monster Summoning 3
Necromancer - Arch Lich (Death Peace)
Paladin - Divine Strength
Ranger - Call of Predator
Shadowknight - Death Peace
Shaman - Focus of Spirit
Wizard - Ice Spear of Solist

That's the extent of what raid mobs like Lodizal will drop. 11 spells, Lodi drops 4 per 12 hours. They will stack up quickly I think.

Re Corduth, he isn't the only undercon in the zone

Keref Spiritspear is a gnoll at the gnoll huts near ToFS. He has about 50k HP, and hits for around 80. Wields weapons and is level 35ish so an enchanter or puppet string master should hold him easily for a long duration.

A few were vendor sold.

Druids 60 heal and 55 heal were sold in EC for example.

Each class gets a level 60 spell that is dropped though (apparently necros get 2 since they share with SKs). There are a few 55 spells that drop in SG / Velketors too. Like Druid bear pet <3.

I remember the druid bear pet being pretty damn rare

in fact most the lvl 55 Velious spells are rare while most guilds will be swimming in the lvl 60 ones as so many named ( like Lody) drop several copies of only lvl 60 spells

and as Daldaen points out theres only 1 lvl 60 spell per class so you will see many many many many copies of these lvl 60 spells


the lvl 55 spells ( depending on which) will be the prized ones for plats

all these spells will be overpriced at launch tho, bc the raiders will NEED these spells to even think about raiding big Velious content

Yea I don't expect to get PotG as a non-poopsocker / non-casual raider for a long while after Velious comes out. Especially if Corudth is made uncharmable here :P.
