This thread is hilarious I had to chime in. While I can't comment on the new server design for eqpvp.com (I am just programming the changes necessary to make it work). I wanted to just clear up a few things.

I disagreed with the EQEmu team bringing on Melwin and Wiz as server staff and in a 'power struggle' between devs you could say they removed my privileges on the forums while I retained the sourceforge project which started the whole EQEmu project. Later Melwin and Wiz were removed of their admin status due to abuse(shocker). During this power struggle devn00b got caught in the loop because he was a real life friend; Doodman acted like we would take the eqemu project from him. My account was deleted from the forum, but it was restored later on after they cooled down.

No, never part of P99 and while Rogean did offer, he and I have different views on how to run a server project (I prefer to put the changes I make back into the public domain, bug fixes and such).

ya i wanted classic eq teams. not some customized bs lol. barbarians cant be shamans. elves control halas. dwarves and halflings on same team as elves. at least make the teams make sense. mite as well just make 3 teams and you choose at selection if you are going to go full retard with it. id be happy with tz/vz or sz setup. shits classic.
