Been here since Aug 2012, it has been this way since I joined. At one point population peaked to 250 or so prime-time, that spike was followed by a downward trend lowering the population back to its median around 150-200.

Let us not forget that probably 20 or so of that number(at least) are just logged in to the character select screen warming up hotpockets or checking on their disability/unemployment claims.

Now I just sort of check the forums now and again, I don't know why.

I have life goals to complete, don't really have a lot of ability to justify a long grind on a server were I can't even corner the pixel market really, no manastones, or dark elf masks.

Just not worth the price of my soul to compete at heartbrands level. God for bid if I had a family to take care of,... things would be even worse, I might pop in here, been wanting to farm up the pp to roll a lowbie ranger.

With such a low server population, a wipe would be healthy for the server, especially before velious.

Hell no! The EQ EMU community needs red99 to attract all the dregs and keep them off the other servers, especially when velious goes live.

uthgard completely died when a new daoc server came out

5200 active accounts first week

wipe it clean. New servers = people login

and this time don't let 1 guild have every boss for 2 years due to no repops during normal hours

It looks like we have repops now as it should be. Velious coming out is the closest thing we can get to a wipe since it resets gear advantage. Also, people should have enough time to get 55+ before Velious releases.

A wipe won't happen.
