ITT, it did not originate in RnF, and OP finally came off their nostalgia high, realized it's an MMO and people are impatient

I like how the "TMO gearing their #th alt" meme is creeping up.
When I first started it was "oh TMO's gearing their alt." During the raid negotiations it was "TMO's 3rd alt" or "TMO 4th alt" pretty consistently. Now we're up to 7th alts. I wish I had 7 alts.

If I were min/max royalty, would I have a wiz, a SK, and a ranger as 3 of my 4 alts? Would I just this week have gotten 60 on a second alt (with the others being 43, 35, and 33)? Would I have my SK in CoM to group and my necro in MM to group (where he gets turned down for groups, actually - cause who would want nearly-free heals and pet+RoA DPS in their groups right?)?
I don't care how people play so long as they aren't trying to force their way on me. Why do people keep bringing up my alts? LIke I said, I have 4, one of which doesn't need any more xp or gear, and 3 of which ONLY group and don't need any more gear. Me playing alts = random PUGs in CoM winning shit by default cause I don't roll on wu's trance sticks. Me playing alts = twinked-ass characters helping non-epic rogues get xp. Etc. I AM Sirken-confirmed 1% though.

When you pick a class/race combo that has by far the largest xp penalty in the game, you are bound to run into more situations where people consider that before grouping with you.
It's you, not everyone else.

again, no one is saying they should be forced to let non-optimal/exp penalty classes in, but the jury's in on you being a dick if that's the basis of your decision.

When I created this post, I didn't start it in RnF, it got moved by Derubael, I guess he thinks that's more amusing. Just pointing this out, because I wasn't trying to garner "negative" attention as RnF often does.
I was bored, server was down, and what I wrote was a small facet of some of the things I recently have witnessed or experienced. I understand why people treat others poorly, and why gamers here choose not to group with others regardless of the reasons behind those decisions. Does it make it OK? I guess it depends on your perspective. My point was from my experience over the past month or so it seems that more people troll, act like jackasses, are rude to other players when in the past it was not so prevalent. Just an observation. I have been in groups where people say, "what weapons does the rogue have?" And, literally would not group the guy because he had a 8/25 piercer at lvl 15. Sure. It's their choice. But it's a dick move. I don't have to explain why. Fun to me is helping others and having enjoyable chat, while killing mobs. I get it. My fun is not necessarily others fun. To others, fun is trolling, being an asshole, and not grouping other people for trivial reasons and being a dick about about it.
