noone likes to loose. Some care too much, you know me well enough to know that im pretty chilled either way.
I guess this is the same reason why you dont like to admit that having mobs stabbing you in the back isnt a good help. Can you afford not too care if you re 60 in good gear, well maybe, but they actually killed him in the end. Why do he have to kill 50ies in rags... i think he may have gone there for you more than them, but thats just assumptions on my part.

lol gladly don't even play much these days, seems like whoever petitions the fastest and hardest wins-- sad times.
I'd hate to be GM on this box

I've never played an MMO, commercial or otherwise, in which the CSRs were informed enough about the game to actually understand the problems in it, let alone fix them with external rules, and r99 appears to be no exception.

I'm sure you did hear a different side of the story to this one insignificant instance but everyone on this server knows he is guilty of much more than he has been persecuted for so as a lackey of his I wouldn't waste my time pushing this subject.

I don't walk around and fraps everyone and their mother, but I can tell you, that we've also been trained a bunch of times - the difference is I don't want people banned, so I don't report it. Instead i'll try to root whoever is training or run away until the trainer dies. Next question from the rule lawyering person would then be: Why should it not be legal - it is a game mechanic? Well, one person being able to bind outside fear and stop 20 people from killing anything just by training mobs on the raid over and over is lame and just as game breaking as having to deal with the people reporting trains. It's just really difficult to deal with all these gray areas. If a fire beetle is agroed on you in neriak and you kill a lvl 60 at the same time, did you train him? What if it was 5 green-agro lvl 20 frogs in upper guk? What if it was a LDC and 2 kobolds in sol b? Or all the frogs from entrance in sebillis to disco? I think the limit should be somewhere between the last two mentioned, but where exactly? impossible to define, and therefore gm judgement will be subjective and in the end people will fraps their enemies to get their characters banned and the game gets lame. I'd instead propose a game mechanic (WHICH IS ACTUALLY CLASSIC), that whoever first agros a mob has a higher agro than the 2nd player to damage it. On this server, you can pull with the biggest shaman slow and it creates 1 point of agro.

Above post is by the way a bit derailed.
I think really the play nice policy regarding loot and scoot is the most game-breaking right now. I haven't overall had many issues with people training me (except in VP where it's legal) or people reporting me for having a mob agroed somewhere in a zone while killing them. However, this new loot and scoot whistle blowing is making pvp lame and it needs to stop, now.
