that's pretty retarded rule, considering it's not found on any of the rule threads and the previous understanding was stalling was okay if the mob wasn't being kited. Stalling being allowed pushed guilds to rush engage and they would sometimes fail due to not enough logging in quickly enough or they weren't buffed or whatever the fuck. It was pretty damn balanced. The only reason I can see TMO crying about it now is because they are losing consecutive targets, we used to discuss ways to stall longer on rush engages to give us time to get everyone in on Trakanon (when we were going against IB).

Staff need to get their shit together and only allow Sirken to make these new rules and when he does there needs to be an update on the forums. Post it in RnF for a week and update the damn raiding rules thread.

It's retarded that a guild gets suspended over all these hidden rule changes. This is why the raiding scene was such a shitty place years ago when things got heated, rules changed every damn day and the staff just winged it.

Except the problem is that with the right items, you can stall for several minutes. Certain fights make this harder to do with a single toon, but then you can just use 2-3 to the same effect. Then the game becomes who can learn to stall the best. It's hard to make the raiding game here more retarded, but an indefinite stall rule somehow accomplishes that feat.

Then they waste the items they gathered to accomplish that goal and have to spend more time renewing that stock.

Stalling is balanced as long as it's not being kited.

I suspect that spending a few hours gathering some items is considered well worth the reward of killing a dragon. I mean, if the history of poopsocking says anything, it is that people are willing to spend rather inordinate amounts of time to kill a dragon.

Everytime you speak it's wrong. Everything is wrong. There is no stall time limit - it was suggested, never implemented. And, pathing over the water isn't a fucking exploit. The juggs will still get to you and attack you once they hit the end of their path. There is no rule that says you must make sure the mob takes the most direct path to you. Exploiting would be if you could indefinitely hold the aggro and never get hit, summoned, casted upon or otherwise.

What do you call it when your guild pulls Phara Dar through the wall?

Stop acting like you have a presence on this server. Go back to button mashing.

Well, actually, lol. I got in trouble for this a long time ago and apparently it is against some retarded rule.

Amelinda stated that they wouldn't hit me, yet I've had them hit me in the air and I've had them kill me in the air. They call this exploiting pathing, yet you can aggro them from the other side sometimes and make them path back and forth on the bridge just by moving a few feet left and right.

That's just another one of those clueless staff rules that was never written and wasn't thought out very well.

There is definitely a rule about exploiting z-axis pathing bugs to prevent mobs from reaching you. Specifically the lake near Trak lair comes in mind.

I try not to argue with fools. From a distance it's hard to tell who is who. It's not Z-axis if they hit you in the air. It would be more X-axis as they pathed on the ground. They hit you just fine in the air.

I can't imagine why anything Amelinda ruled on is still validated. I wouldn't consider this an exploit at all. I've been killed in the past tracking on that far wall by aggroing juggs and they seem to hit you just fine once that hit that far point in their path and then come through the water. They also hit just fine mid Z-axis.

Tmo where do you find these idiots or just make up rules out of thin air?
If you know much about the situation on Maelin, his sig pretty much says all that needs to be said.
