The entire purpose for this complex FFA system you want to propose is to remedy a non existent issue of OOR healers in non existent mass pvp. Let that sink in for a bit.

The problem doesn't exist now because the rules in place make it very difficult.

Change the rules and it becomes easier and much more likely.

Except the rebuttal to your point is we had Sol B and Perma as non FFA zones for months, when mass PVP was FAR more prolific, and these issues never arose.

Because the max level was 50 and the level range was 8.

By different situation you mean far more mass pvp on a daily basis with constant fights over raid mobs?

When a raid mob is up/spawned the zone goes to FFA.

Example
Solb is 4+- levels until Nagafen spawns, then it is FFA until Nagafen dies.
KC is 4+- levels until VS spawns, then it is FFA until VS dies.

Also would the planes remain FFA with this change?
this is a good compromise. let people level in those areas in peace but when raid mob pops get the fuck out or get rolled over. eldermoran makin too much sense. must be someone else forumquesting.

At the end of the day, it doesn't make a huge difference, if you remove FFA distinction when the mob isn't up it's fine, but let's confine it to indoor dungeon raid mobs, and remove Sol B and Perma due to the unique nature of naggy/vox and the level restriction.

Edit: The potential for griefing in zones like DL / TD / EJ / CS etc., particularly in Velious when many of these dragons may remain up for extended periods of time, is just too great. Let's keep the FFA to the dungeons, and use the "when the mob is up" type flag, if at all possible. At the very least, +4/-4 everywhere else is a HUGE START, combined with getting rid of the sol b / perma distinction.

hey while we're coming up with shitty ideas, how bout just disable pvp til max level? i mean no one wants to get killed while tryin to level right?
how about exp GAIN on pvp death?
how bout we respawn with gear so the guides aren't burdened by summoning them for us when we dont want to corpse run?
