KC is like the one exception to the traditional "Camps" system, imo. Yeah, there ARE clear areas which people have labeled with names that are well known. The issue is that all of these areas and their pull routes overlap, so it becomes a shit show in a hurry.

When I'm in KC I more or less just pull whatever is up and unengaged, as do most others.

You tried to use server rules to push someone out of a camp they were claiming.
A camp to which he had no legitimate claim according to server rules. Wow.

Rules basically say you have to be physically at the named spawn and be able to handle it in order to claim it.

Reality is quite different in KC. When it gets really crowded it seems there's not enough mobs to go around, so things get... chaotic. People all the time call multiple camps by having 2 different people in a group call different nameds off. Everyone does it. I dunno... if they can handle it you probably don't really want to move in on the spawn and wrest it from them by PnP or whatever... If you have a group just go to Sebilis, Chardok*, or something and have all the mobs to kill you can handle.

*Chardok if no AE group going. Otherwise its too dangerous.

You may very well have the rules on your side here.
I do.

But you were willing to spend this much time and effort to fight over the amount of plat that a person can farm in 15 minutes.
Effort? You're spending more effort commenting in a thread about something that has nothing to do with you. What effort?

People love KC because a) they can run to the zone when they fuck up and b) they can solo. So basically it attracts all of the bad/antisocial players in the game. Verdict: avoid.

I've always likened KC to CB for grown-ups. It can be fun, but it's not worth the trouble.

To the person who said he would like to see a rogue solo tranix.....its quite easy if you have the right tools. I have solod him on friends rogue picks.

Steps to soloing on rogue.
First engage and drop a mallet on him....hes slowed.
Second when you get to 20 health, drop a root net on him.
Third back up and click your trak bp 12 times....72 seconds or so
Lastly kill him. If you run through tranix then back up real fast you can land all your backstabs.
Tranix dead.

Rules do state you have to be able to kill the mob strictly with what you have there, but with soulfires and clickies never underestimate what a person can do. With the right tools, any class can solo tranix.

c) KC is good for casual players who want to group. You can quickly get in and out of groups here, if you have an hour or so to play.

You can't do that with other high level dungeons. That hour would be totally consumed in travelling and getting in and out of the group.
