Something I've seen TMO do in VP to get COH mage to the top of the picture room and in permafrost to get to Vox's lair from the alternate cave.

windowed mode:

character has a levitate buff

you click off the EQ screen

you click back to the EQ screen

your character is a little higher in the air than he was before.

on the epic emu server i once hit a mob for over 10 damage and Kegz banned me

apparently it is a big deal. TMO calls in pocket gm_003 to hassle a BDA raid force at Vox, moving characters down from the ledge, including characters that were already parked there from the last week Vox kill. I want to know if this is just one of those one time things that TMO and their enforcers get away with or if its a server wide written policy.

Not in either guild. Just commenting, but it doesn't seem like the post indicates he wasn't using the trick. It was showing that in this case a rule against it was enforced, and I suppose the accusation is in other cases it wasn't, despite the same "mechanic" being used.

Ehh Metallikus implied that his guild was moving DOWN from the ramp, meaning they weren't exploiting lev mechanics to achieve height they shouldnt be able to obtain. However, his guildie Legas then instructs other BDA members in /say how to use the trick to get higher up. This was witnessed by GM Derubael so yes it did happen.
