Ok got it working again. Turns out my roommate turned in some video game/streaming media boost option in our router. Turning it off allowed me to connect on first try.

Mine seemed to work fine last night. Ping was back down and didn't crash while zoning. No changes made on my end. Hopefully this is a trend.

Rule out Comcast
Hey guys,
My buddy and I are having the same issues mentioned above on -3 different systems (1 homebrew intel, 1 HP amd, 1 dell laptop), -3 different versions of windows (XP, Vista and Windows 7) -2 different internet connections (His place, my place) And all on Time Warner connections not comcast. We've done the Quick fixes mentioned in other posts: -Turned off Loading screen (helped with 90% of the zoning crashes, but Freeport still hates us, we have a 50/50 shot to not crash) -Run the game as Admin and in compatibility mode (XP service pack 2) This actually sped the game up a bit. We had no problems at all UNTIL the data center/Hardware adjustment switch on Monday this past week, then all these things started happening at once. Issues: -Crashes while zoning (complete lock ups) -Empty server window -Saying our files are out of date on character select screen, etc Usually restarting the client corrects everything but the crashing. I'm sure its a bug somewhere , especially since the login sever didn't want to work with titanium after the switch either. -Vaportrail | ||
