Agreed, I really don't like the idea. It honestly gives an unfair advantage to people who can play 24/7. Look at the grief now on level 53s on FFA pvp think of the grief of those people can also loot their gear.

People who play more should have an advantage, but even those people would find item loot boring. If people are thinking that all of a sudden a bunch of people will lose items in PVP they are wrong. People will not even equip decent items. It will make exp groups less efficient and PVP too easy. It also gives a huge advantage to casters (less gear dependent AND kill shot = loot rights) so good luck finding a tank in your exp group in the 30s and 40s. And if you do he is going to be a rocking basalt carapace and raw hide.

And I'm not into the 50s yet but I have a feeling the griefing shit is overblown. 90% of it seems to happen in CoM. Same with the lvl 15-25s whining about that fag Mrbigs in Unrest...there are probably 25 other places you can get exp just go somewhere else?

Valid points. But in Mr. bigs defense... he is actually a pretty decent guy. I view him as a wandering RED mob... My wizard gets killed by him about once a day in Unrest lol but he never talks trash, he is actually very polite. and he has never "griefed" me. Just saying is all im saying.

mr bigs has killed my alts but allowed lns. i think thats why i dont consider it griefing, pvp != grief.

MrBigs is not that bad and neither is slumlord or the rest. But it's fun to QQ/rant/use them as steller examples of bad pvpers.

That doesn't diminish them as humans, experiencing what it is they are experiencing. I.e. not being good enough to roll in walmart gear at low levels. ) I've even had them protect the zone while I was leveling there from other players. So they can even be friendly and use their powers for good on occasion.

The point for item loot is to add depth and meaning to pvp and relationships. It's downside is that it makes it much harder to play an already time consuming game. The other downside is most people feel entitled to leveling in the best twink gear imaginable because they've... (insert X reason here).

All these behaviors are not conducive to increasing population except people having more deep and meaningful relationships. Over half the people on the box, while antisocial don't want to be anyones online pals. This is understandable and they don't take it to the extremes that a minority here do. We can't force those people to become cooler. But we can encourage good behavior from them all ) Those guys are normally super dedicated to playing 24/7 round the clock. Item loot wouldn't break their immersion.
