So lets take this from a social standpoint.
Everquest is a game where the primary objective is to level a character to then engage "boss" raid level content. When you achieve the appropriate status/level in game you are given two options. One option is to join a well organized and proven group of individuals that have successfully maintained a stable roster of mature player. The other is to join a disorganized group of server rejects, wannabes, drug addicts, attention whores and drama queens with a history of inconsistent stability and flakey leadership. Azrael is a nuisance at best. You may have those off chances where you muster enough players to challenge Nihilum ,but to the Red99 community as a whole, you are just a bus stop for players that ultimately realize the same truths.

Help make this server red, join azrael. Contribute to the cause. Leave and form you're own guilds so we have legit pvp once nihilum has been disbanded. Send these blues back to blue to wait in line for 150 others for epics, were they belong.

Honestly, with the exp rate being so slow, he kind of has a point with the whole no-life thing.
It's one thing to get a character geared in endgame, but it's another ballpark entirely to grind non PVP content to obtain the ability to find PVP content The problem is, if you boosted the exp rate on R99, everyone would PVE there and blue would have no purpose. People would feel forced to pvp. There is nothing skilled about PvE EXP grinding on a PvP server then claiming to be the best PvPer ever. I'd love to see a system, especially with P99's 1-box policy, that 1) removes XP loss, 2) rewards PVP intertwined with PVE by giving consumables (something like 900% exp potions along with other PVP-related goodies) that can be bought with PVP points earned through contesting named NPC spawn points. Think of it this way: Guild A engages Nagafen. Guild B engages Guild A. For every member of Guild B that dies by Guild A (and vice versa) a PvP point is awarded. Nagafen's kill credit would also award zone 'control' for the week to the guild who has slain it, giving a sanctuary for that guild in that area as well as a permanent buff to XP gain, loot increase, etc for that dungeon's guild. You could take the idea a step further if done on Teams99, zone contesting would be a great idea. A PvP Team could control an area (think King of the Hill-style capture points with an NPC boss that needs to be defeated) that would take 15 minutes of standing around to capture. Once captured, zones would give the same aforementioned XP/Loot/Cash buff and potentially some amenities such as merchants, bankers, and buff bots that only were active to specific teams.

I love all the Nihilum sticking up for Rexx with that chat log posted - It's just red99 bro's, Nihilum stands for maturity and friendships bro's.
It's just a game, Brobb wasn't a hardcore rager, and Rexx didn't honestly believe Nizzar/Tune/Heartbrand/Elderan are fucking losers. Suuure =)
