Sure geared people will do better than non-geared people -- Thats everquest for you folks.

Classic resists means you dont have to wear 20/21 pieces of MR gear just to not get rooted, which is quite an improvement. You can wear more HP/MANA gear and get away with it.

Current resist system favors zergy pvp. In classic resists, if you got 6 good people you can kill 12-15 other scrubs easily and that is something I enjoyed about classic everquest. This is not possible with current resists.

one way or another, syft will make everything about Nihilum. even when patches that benefit the entire server come out.

personally stoked that bard ez-button will get fixed and that my resist songs are going to actually make me a whole lot more useful against casters and in group pvp.

nizzar's entire guild is comprised of warm body recruit wizards and druids

they're going to get shit on when i don't take 800 damage from a sunstrike with 200 fire resist

Yes because Nihilum doesnt have 40 of the best geared melee just waiting for this.

Get real son, we run around on alts because its different and fun, when it becomes serious we log in our main decked out melee.

If I were you I would worry about your soulfires and golem wands being nerfed.

As usual I'm not here to here to fit into the cesspool that is the forum community because I quite honestly don't want to be any of your friends!

I'm here to speak truth!

1. The resist code is gonna fuck caster's vs melee's, mainly since they didn't add 2 sec spell refresh on instant clicks, and you all have no idea how much 2 sec spell wait vs melee's is gonna destroy caster's in pvp. That's why Verant had it in game.

2. The resist code on Top geared melee's when the gear variance is so extreme on this server is gonna benefit Nihilum more than anyone else! There hp gear gonna make them last longer than Sf clicks did.

When the tears start to flow, REMEMBER WHO SAID IT FIRST FOLKS!

jboot refreshing spells was great, not many ppl knew bout that on live was surprised not to see it here from day 1

id love to c some of these changes go in.. bard high sun is completely broken ability, pvp right now is extremely gimmicky, and both sides take full advantage. The PvP system on this box makes it very wowish, on live with a well geared character you could take out 3-4 people if you had the right resist set, it'll do wonders for making small tight knit pvp guilds viable at least on that front.

Changes to Necros would be wonderful, will at least stop Wizard being the FotM class and balance the caster pool a bit more-- Necros have been far too underpowered for way too long here

Of coz none of these changes mean anything if the community is still toxic, hope the playerbase can accept the PvP dev w/ open arms and show him/her some much deserved praise if these changes actually happen here

I agree most the kids that play here never pvp'd on live so they don't understand that this server is more a wow/hybrid than a true eq emu.

characters with high resists could literally stand like god's in EQ and fight entire groups. Bard definitely needs nerf's class was nothing like this on live and Necro's need love. but they gotta stick to the lil nuances that made classes work.

On live Necro's got zilch if they tapped a skinned opponent if they buff um here without adding stuff like that, you'll make um monsters.

But as usual player's won't understand what the changes will do, or how they will impact pvp until after implantation, then there gonna go all mob toxic crazy on new dev.

what changes are being made to necros that no one besides nihi knows about, i dont see whats broken with them right now, but then again, i'm not playing one
