Im not sure is this is related either, but I have a vpn that launches on start-up. I took auto launch off and now do it manually after about a minute after start-up. Crash rate is way down while zoning now.

I've had a similar experience with a VPN (tunnel bear) fixing an array of P99 problems.

Mine did that. I went into the EQ folder and went to the eqgame.exe and set the compatibility to Windows XP (service pack 2). It stopped crashing for me.

* Go to eq folder (the one with Launch Titanium.bat in it)
* Find, or search, for eqgame.exe in the same folder
* Right-click on eqgame.exe and choose Properties
* Click Compatibility tab
* Check 'Run this program in compatibility mode for', and choose Windows XP (Service Pack 3)
* Click Apply button, then OK etc
* Run game using Launch Titanium.bat

Works for me (Win 10 with ssd)

Did this and it fixed crash on logging but created new UI files (lost friendslist, changed my resolution, etc.)
