What I think is funny is that everyone keeps saying the standard was VZTZ which wasnt even a teams server? I thought it was FFA.

And yeah I enjoyed all the EQ pvp servers I was on ( the classic ones from live). I'll compromise for w/e if it can be done right. Less freedom with more pop = win for me. Its not perfect its not the paradise. Ide rather have a perfect FFA discord MUD with no CSR beyond game bugs. But I am done asking for that. Because there'd be 15 people that would ever play there.

I'll be happy as long as you can fight in a zone with other players vs other players. Doesn't have to be every single one.

I already have to guild with people I don't like or group with people I don't like to get anywhere on R99, teams is not going to make it worse. Its a fact of life. Got to pay the price to make the wins.

I'm just hoping and praying for more options. A few more. Like 5 more would be good for me.

If they do VZTZ rule and allow team grouping it's gonna be cross-teaming clusterfuck.

If the do sullon and make training legal, it will be a same team training clusterfuck!

Clowns like Heartbrand will log on neutral monk run mobs past his own team feign death, then log on his real team main and join nihilum as they camp the mob.

Lets get these people banned early and on the spot. How hard is it to have a guide online during a dragon raid? The server knows "about when the mob will pop" pm a guide and if people do stupid shit, start banning them 1 at a time. I don't even care what happens in guk or unrest... just give people a fair chance at sportsmanlike behavior endgames so they have something to look forward to.

Though from what I hear this is a double detriment because people cant even debuff and memblur a dragon to get an advantage without being banned.

IF there not in Nihilum. Thats what I heard anyway.

Totally worth worrying about too, it has and still happens. Every could group of players will have someone feeding them intel. Be it a spy or just the stupidity of people heading to zones 2 hours before a raid, calling it out in ooc or not choosing to use anon.

Spies/same team trainers etc, were a huge part of the game back on live they will always be there. Adds a whole level of dynamics good and bad.

Can guides go incognito without the player base seeing them online? If so it only takes someone an hour to see what really happens when the authorities aren't around lol.

A discord server would be one helluva good thing to pop out from time to time. Let it run for a bit crown a winner shut it down for a bit. It has no longevity aside from a temporary clusterbleep of paranoid gang raping goodness. Great fun for a bit and lets everyone switch things up a bit. I understand though it takes a shitload to run servers equipment etc but still would be fun to see one come a few times a year for everyones enjoyment, think of it as a gimped BotB match that lasts a few weeks [You must be logged in to view images. Nope. Give the teams the ability to 'report' players on their own team. If a player gets enough report votes, they become killable. And then the players kill them. Problem solved.
