How is leveling up to 60 again and farming plane of fear and hate for the 48938th time fun? EQ is a pve game that has the option to pvp here for the pve rather than being first to engage. I've never seen so many people who fundamentally hate what EverQuest is as a game take such interest in it, it's pretty strange.

Because we do all that for the journey pal. Everyone knows Everquest isn't a destination, it's a journey.

The PVP along the way, the drama, luls to be had and the camaraderie. You clearly missed what Everquest is, a social game.

We play for PVP but we also play for the social aspect. Otherwise we could play something where little effort is involved to PVP like Call of Duty or some shit.

Also: not all of us leveled up 5 characters with max gear on this server.

I think someone ratted Destin out - it wasn't me, but a lot of people were disgusted with him during this.

I was cheering him on the entire time of course, probably wasn't a good idea in the end.

I got a few day suspension just for mentioning it because Destin passed all his items to a different toon, or dropped them on the ground or some shit that made Sirken have to do all this extra work to trace them, to confirm they wern't RMT'd which Mellow was under investigation for, if I remember all that correctly.

Couldn't care less who was disgusted, fuck em. Guy stole items, characters, rmt'd, posted RL info of players on boards, and was involved in the deletion of accounts he never had access to just to name a couple offenses. Unfortunate that the policy towards this changed in favor of someone so morally reprehensible, but wasn't trying to make work for Rogean or Sirken. My only regret is their time lost.
