+ 1 for no rice.

Had mine out a few years ago. Was put completely under. Just felt like I dozed off for a minute, didn't even realize they were gone at first.

Didn't bother me much during or after. Was fun to poke at the holes with my tongue til they healed up =p

My dentist gave me too much Nitrous Oxide and I started hearing shit.

Reminded me of a Moby song.

Sounded like My Weakness with some robot lady saying random numbers while the track played.

No music was playing in the office. I asked.

You will taste blood. And you will feel the teeth being removed from their sockets.

However. It won't hurt while you're under the effects of laughing gas.

I was really high.

But I still felt a little pain.

It wasn't bad though.

I didn't get any pain medication either.

It didn't hurt afterwards.

It was weird running my tongue over the gaps in my gums though.

They wanted to remove all 4.

But only 2 were impacted. So I told them to only remove 2. The bottom ones.

OH ROFL. That wasn't my wisdom teeth. That was 2 other teeth that were crowding the bottom.

For my wisdom teeth. They completely knocked me out.

I was actually in the middle of saying "So when am I going to (feel asleep) was going to say (fall asleep)."

Woke up. It was instantaneous.

You won't notice the difference in time. You'll wake up groggy though. That's it.

I had all 4 of mine out with just local anesthesia

I could have gotten general but they have to bring in an anesthesiologist for that and it's more expensive, and also totally unnecessary (or at least it was for me)

I requested that they setup some kind of mirror so I could watch, but the surgeon wouldnt go for it, tried to cover my face with a cloth which pissed me off too.

overall I dont like being put under either, would avoid whenever possible.

I had mine out and it actually did kill me.

Just kidding, I still have mine. They've erupted through the gums and I do some of my best chewing with them. They're blocky, weird, big-ass teeth. I highly recommend.

I was out and about with friends the same day, honestly.

Got it done in the morning, by that night I was drinking and smoking cigarettes (obviously against orders b/c dry socketz), and it was no big deal. I continued with cigs and drinking with straws and never got a dry socket. Luck and idiocy are usually on the side of 17 year olds afterall, methinks.

Just don't let them show you the teeth afterward. It's fucking disgusting.

They gave me mine in a little brown envelope. I think I still have them somewhere. Sort of interesting to see after the fact, cuz of the roots and all. Not like when baby teeth fall out.
