I tend to /ooc Porting for bribes. When I'm in the mood to get a couple 20p tips before I get bored and start AFK staring at a wall again.

If you've managed to actually make considerable money with a druid, I'm impressed. Luckily for me, I just enjoy the class instead seeing it as (bad) cash generator.

it would make the frequency with which he could make new accounts much lower.

Hi!

this ismy only character on the server -- go ahead, check.

This fellow archival, is standing and /shouting druid ports for donations at SF ramp in Overthere.

He had been doing this for at least 4 hours, but that is neither here nor there.

I see him /shouting his services, I say, need aport to west commons.

I tip him 9p.

His response: "eeew"

He complained. he said most people tip him 20p - 100p.

This is my only character. I have maybe 600p to my name. He is /shouting in a zone for ports for donations. I give him what, to me, is a fair tip.

Archival complains. Bitches. Whines.

Hey Archival! Suck me. Hard.
You don't NEED a port. There are boats. If you'd like to save your time, you should tip appropriately. I feel absolutely no obligation to spend one second of my time to port you because YOU want to save YOUR time.

That being said, I am often generous with my time to port people in frustrating situations to encourage them to move past it and continue to enjoy the game. When I donate MY time, it's on MY conditions.

You expecting someone to be generous to you because you are playing the same game is presumptuous.

9p doesn't sound like much...its not. The problem op has is that the druid was shouting ports for Donation, there was no minimum 50p donation simply for donations. For a new character 9p can be a lot when your scrimping and saving for that one piece of gear you want.

If the druid didnt want to port for 9p he could've said so, instead of spitting in this guys face...

To people expecting me to port them around the game, yes.

If the OP didn't have 20pp to offer as a decent porting tip, they could have taken the boat.

I'm pretty sure the OP received the port, and the druid told him what he thought of the tip after the port. Then...the OP decided those typed words were enough to warrant a post in flames.

If the druid wanted a "decent porting tip" Hed shout Ports 20p min donation.

but that would make him sound like an asshole in public, where belittling a noob in tells after the fact makes him a big man!

I am wondering what part of "he was /shouting ports for donations for hours in OT" was unclear to you.

Illiteracy is a bitch. But, the GED is within yer reach, I can tell. You just need to take your head out of your ass. Trust me, Lyra, you *can* learn to read! But yes, it will require you to remove that head from up your ass. You can do it Lyra. We are all pulling for you.

Here is his shout out of my logs:

Archival shouts, 'porting to all druid locs for $$$ - at SF ramp'

Who can't read? I don't see anything about donations.

Nice attack with the GED reference. I'm hurt.

See, you still are not seeing it, and you are just making this worse. You did not name a price. And I am serious. Check my character. This is it. I tipped you 1/24th of what I had on me. I have 300ish in bank.

I challenge anyone here to say Iam cheep. I always tip ~10p for ports.

Sorry Lyra/Archival if that makes you feel violated. But I will tell you what. When I get richer, look me up. I will take care of you within reason.

Why? Because Sadre is a player.
