There was sooooooo much random/almost good gear in skyshrine.

I remember skyshrine being one of true tests of a mages patience in velious. And if you had a retard playing mage aswell. It was always a thing within our guild that whoever couldnt get to yeli's lair as a mage after being shown 3 times gets kicked. Was good fun.

I am fairly certain it is just Yelinak himself. I remember having to wait until he was up to check my Yelinak faction. I have no way to prove this, though [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

While I know this statement isn't 100% true, after conferring with Nilbog and some logs he has, I know the 'list' of mobs involved in both Kael and in Skyshrine that will need to be modified.

And when people see it, it will be an 'aww crap' classic slap to the face =D.

Still looking for insight and feedback on these items as well

• Skyshrine drops. I never hunted here, I was ally COV for 90% of Velious, still am iirc even after a LONG haul hunting in north. From this loot table http://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/npc.html?id=6190, how much is Classic Velious Era correct? Same goes for Guardian and Sentry armor.
• 'Old Yelinak' vs 'New Yelinak', I'd like some feedback from those of you that fought him early in Velious.
• Wizard Gate spells to Velious? Where were they?

Well I know that the all important Kael faction was King Tormaxx. And that the Kromrif faction was basically useless for higher lvls aside from being liked by the NPCs in some variance.

I'm not sure which faction was required to do the armor turn ins (for SS faction) and which were on their faction. But! The point is the armor givers required their own faction in the Kael case, probably SS too. You only got faction for the armor givers by killing the bigger baddies (ie dwarf trash mobs in Great Divide... nothin' useful there, but killing any dwarf mobs in Ice Well... yeah that gave you the good faction)

I was a Kael guy and everything in there hated me.

Pray to the Sun and ask for the Dawg. You may get your faction answers.
