Fixed it for you.

You'd be writing songs too if there was a possibility of spending 3 years in jail for a bag of joints, motherfucker.
the last part doesn't even make sense - why would I write a song about a habit that could get me in jail? Wouldn't that be risking me going to jail even more?

And I spoke in the 1st-person-plural because I was expressing the opinions of more than one person. Maybe if you weren't constantly high you would understand the obvious suggestion behind using words like "we" and "our".

Are you really this ignorant? Here are your choices:

1) A pothead types about how high he is in a video game.
2) A drunk hits your car and kills you.

April 20th is a joke. It's just an excuse to have a couple friends over and get stoned. People write songs about their dogs and their trucks and their plastic Jesus.

Have you ever heard of this word "tolerance"? It's really helpful in relating to people that are different from you. Most adults try to apply it to behavior that doesn't put their lives or property at risk.

Our statement is pretty clear: we don't think there is anything special about pot, and so we're irritated with how people are constantly talking about how high they are, which misrepresents how ordinary and un-special the activity is. Most non-pot smokers actually have nothing against marijuana or most marijuana-smokers, but rather have a neutral attitude towards both. However, pot smokers tend to think that being a pot smoker is like being part of a movement - that's why they make up their own holidays (420), write songs about it, and spend nearly every waking moment of their pathetic lives prowling google for conspiracy theory websites that reaffirm their mistaken belief that marijuana has no adverse health effects*. This pisses non-pot smokers off, hence why this thread exists.

Wow, well put. Couldn't agree more.

I could care less about pot till people started getting all crazy about it. The only reason I hate it at this point is simply that reason. Its not pot itself that we hate, its people liking pot so much that we hate. The more people want it legalized the more I don't. I would almost go protest against it at this point, even though deep down I could care less about it and maybe would even be pro-legalization just to make things easier.

Note: I also hate alcohol for the same reasons above. I would love to see alcohol become illegal. I hate mundane things that people like alot regardless of what it is.

Aside from the use of sports enhancement injections, I am straightedge. I don't drink or smoke and never have. I don't care if people smoke pot as long as its not around me personally and in game they dont get us killed. But yes it can get overdone with people having to tell everyone in the group their habits or having their name reflect said habit. Then again, A LOT of gamers are burnouts.

Im not going to get into a scientific debate on the effects of "sports enhancement" substances. There are far too many variations out there to determine what will happen to me later in life for doing it only at a minimal pace to keep up with my profession. As far as going outside, I play pretty much every sport available to adults at my age in my community and enjoy the physical activities involved with them all. I have done my homework on the decisions I make for my health. Speak to doctors more than listening to the media and government, you might be surprised at what you discover. You do know if you take too much aspirin its bad for you too? Wow, better just handle those headaches another way I guess!
My wife and I only play EQ at night after the kids are in bed and for only a few hours three to four times a week or as life permits. As much as I would like to, we don't really veg-out on here.
I apologize for seeming like a troll, that I am not. I'm not agreeing with or disagreeing with the posts here, just like all of you, adding my two cents worth of nothing. Sorry if you feel the need to police my posts.

You seem really unclear on this straight edge thing. Yes, aspirin is a drug. Yes, caffeine is a drug. Yes, sugar is a drug. You don't get to pick and choose and call yourself straight edge.

The headaches will stop if you clean yourself up. Most of the effects of smoking pot disappear within a month or two and any sign of lung damage is gone in a few years. Your injections, however, might have already caused considerable and irreversible damage.
