is hungfuu = hungfoo?

if so i talked to him for several days last month and seemed like a good dude. asked me a lot about living in indo (not while trying to sell/buy something).. even offered to help me acquire items since we were both in 'the game' at the time of ec flipping

of course.. i have probably made about 20k lifetime out of several months ec flipping and i was shocked to see this dude transform from a rags lv 12'ish necro to a solid sk twink selling fungis, cof, hieros among other things

i guess the account he got explains it though

other than that.. just a regular ec flipper. nothing to be afraid of. just talk him down now that you know he has cash, lol.

edit: anyway, the original owner of these accounts he got must have thought he was a pretty good dude too. just sayin

Let me walk through a scenario where you can easily make lots of money. This is a real scenario, you can see my posts if you want to see the type of trades that can occur if you look and trade correctly. I leveled an iksar monk to 26, decided I didn't want a monk at that time. Looked to trade/sell it. Somebody had a 30 rogue on red that they were letting rot and was thinking of coming to blue so we did a straight swap. Traded the rogue for a 50 red bard with a bad rep. Sold him for 10k red and transferred that 4:1 for 40k. That's 40k over a few days by watching the market and understanding where there is value. I then bought a necro with that 40k +20k I had and sold it for a fungi +20k a week later. Sold the fungi for 70k. So, now i've turned a 26 monk into 90k. It's possible folks. You just have to know how to evaluate commodities in a game and moving economy. And also get lucky.

Trading items/accounts etc is all about trading an asset that somebody else values more than you for an asset that you think is more valuable than they do. This doesn't always work out but if you can do that correctly you can make a LOT of plat on this server. I bought a gnome necro firepot bound for 190k and sold it for 250 one week later.

I don't know hungfuu from a hole in the ground. But you can make lots of plat if you make good decisions and trade the "commodities" the game has correctly.

And lets not assume that he couldn't have been gifted an account from a friend or something too. What if a friend had a level 50 account with a DE mask or something. There are a lot of ways that he could have come across the plat legitimately. Also a lot of ways it could be illegitimate as well but your "evidence" isn't anything except a statement that you don't think you could trade as well as he has. There are people that make lots of plat doing nothing but trading up.

Yep got to factor in the red/blue split and the economy balances. Red isn't some far off island that has no place in the blue market...even if you just log in for the /ooc its fun [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

He's almost always in EC and I wouldn't doubt if its like two friends using the acct to play the EC, but I've also bought from and sold to him a few times. Decent dude and seems legit to me.

I have ported hungfuu and some of his alts around and he, she seemed like a very nice person and a good tipper. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] I have no problem with him or her. Never bought nothing form him. Out of my plat reach. I have WAY too many alts I piss it away on. [You must be logged in to view images.
