Not everyone has 2 million plat cash they can just keep on hand for when you finally decide to or not to sell the staff. Some might but it is in all fairness to atleast ask for a end date. I mean if your not gonna take 1.9 million then just say what you would take as a starting bid and put a end date and let it go from there. yes it is rare but also 1 person with that kind of money sitting around isnt all that common either.

For normal items, I can understand this logic. For an item that no longer drops, and will never again be attainable (past the 15 or so that exist on the server, most of which I am sure will never be put on the market) I see no reason to set an end date to the auction. It's the people seeking the item's prerogative to offer or to pass the chance at a pre-nerf by.

I don't see why the staff's usefulness and rarity changes anything. If you don't post a min bid, buyout, or end date it's not a serious sale.

I don't see the word auction in my post, so I have no idea where you got that. My point is that if you actually want to sell something you put a price on it. But maybe the attention you are getting in this thread is what you really want :P

I do know it's worth more than 1.9. I turned down 2.2 (never selling mine) over a year ago when there was way less plat floating around. Should be an easy 3 or 3.5 now.

Catherin's been wanting this for a long time. Who's to say she hasn't offered an outrageous amount?

I'm with Splorf. I think the seller just wants attention and "see what I *could* have gotten" on the item.

If he's trying to milk it for an amount like 5m, he could have just said "Starting bid 5million".
