Nono. I meant they don't understand that their role is just to sit there and be mediocre DPS and thus in not knowing their role need to learn to play. Sorry if that wasn't clear.
Oh, in that case I stand corrected. Sorry for my mistake - carry on hating I guess.

Damn Jil, what warrior pee'd in your rose bed.
Haha no warrior, I just find this argument to be hilarious. I have liked most of the warriors I have grouped with. Just the people who think if there is a warrior in the group that they HAVE to hold aggro or the group is fail need to shut the fuck up. If the warrior gets aggro more power to them, but slowing down killing so the warrior can play tank is retarded imo.

We were AE'ing royals last night with a warrior. Best exp gain I've had in 20 levels. I churned through over half of level 40 in about 2 hours.

Can't imagine how a warrior would have helped. The other 4 in your group must have been pretty good.

Pickled, you're a pretty terrible player if you don't know how a warrior could help.

IMO if your group is efficient, aggro isn't even a factor. The mobs drop so fast it doesn't matter. Red or yellow mob? Taunt fails? Root. It's pretty simple. Most of the groups I've been in are excellent at that. Luckily for me everyone on here doesn't have a type A personality with a stick up their ass, so I actually do get invited to groups even if I am not the most efficient or perfect choice.

Wait til Kunark is released, you might be happy some people decided to stick to their warriors.

Someone had to pull and make it back alive.

The other day I was grouped with a warrior named Warrenz in Sol B who was using executioner's axe and couldn't hold agro worth a penny. Someone recommended he buy some 20plat lariats as soon as he could so he could tank better and he rage quit on our group.

A lot of warriors just fail to understand the limitations of their class. Also, if you're a dps player it takes a little bit of adjustment getting used to having a warrior tank for your group because if you're used to SKs/Pals you're used to being able to start damage a lot faster and more freely.

Jilena summed it up pretty well. Even well geared warriors are inferior to pals and sks in exp groups.

Yup, I shelved my tank and rolled a pally for this reason, since for the foreseeable future exp grouping is all I'll be doing. That doesn't mean I won't level the tank up at some point when I can provide him with good gear, but as first toon levelling up a war is way less fun than a knight with not a lot of redeeming features.

Regards,
Mg
