Weird ruling on a dispute last night. We formed a group in Seb, did a cc. Guy we knew wasn't in crypt was calling crypt, so we checked it out and it was full spawn. We cleared our way in, cleared crypt, started toward emperor. There's a necromancer feigned along the way to emperor. He's claiming the camp, but he's not the guy calling it in ooc. We continue clearing the full spawn. Emperor is up, it appears a group wiped on him and the necro feigned. Necro starts drama in ooc.

We continue clearing through another cycle. We clear emperor room for the second time and head back to crypt. The wiped group is back on their feet an hour and forty minutes after the wipe. A GM or guide appears. The necro claims that they've been there the entire time "sitting out" while they wait for a ruling. My group got booted out of crypt.

indeed, what was the gm's reasoning to boot you? iirc if you ain't handling the spawns in a timely manner its not your camp.

Don't be like that in a contested camp like crypt if you wiped and took 40 minutes to come back that camp is open.

Haha that seb drama was priceless, Mantic QQing so hard. Then after it was settled he disappeared like a ninja.

I thought the rule was you had to have sufficient force to claim a camp, and there was only a necro sitting in the hallway to emp, how was he going to kill emp I wonder.... New necro lock picks I guess.
