how?
all the politicians on both sides of the aisles are bought and paid for by large interests, there aren't anymore on-the-fence politicians for lobbyists to lobby, the only thing they do these days is offer more money than the last lobbyist that they had a meeting with
doesn't matter if you vote rep or dem, doesn't matter what those reps or dems say on the campaign trail, after they are elected into office anything on the campaign trail gets thrown out and laughed at, then they do whatever they promised their big money donors that they would do, and then a few years later they get a super cushy do nothing 6-7 figure job at some nameless corporation as payment for their "public service" of drafting legislation which was favorable to that corporation
there is literally nothing else going on, nothing deeper, nothing more complicated.
The entire government is just a few thousand people greasing each others palms before they jerk each other off.
manufactured culture wars exist only to perpetuate the facade that there are opposing factions in government
it really is that simple.

You ever travel the interstate, son? Maybe visit some suspension bridges?
Or maybe you might want to check out the Hoover Dam. I hear that is popular at parties.
The fact is, and it's something you don't talk about as you drink up this giant barrel of Global Winning and complain it's not sweet enough, this is how the stuff rolls, period. Go live in Ecuador. They tried to be pleasant and adopt the dollar as their currency. Go behold the fail, and the pain.
That's real pain, man, real pain. The kind of pain a man can have a hard time explaining to a young wife.
