I just think if nothing drastic is done that people have been jumping up and down shouting and yelling for, then it's painfully obvious free or not, that the devs here are a bunch of knuckle-hard-headed people that only want to do things their way or the highway.

That type of ideology does not breathe life into the server and only detracts from players confidence in anything ever being done or changed. I log in every now and then and immediately log off with absolutely no motivation to play. PvPing the same 40 people is not something I'm interested in. I never played on a previous EMU and took this project on die hard dedicated, and unfortunately as much as I hate to admit they had a point or their method of delivering it, many players that have quit here were right and almost prophesied the eventual state of red99. Any further non-action will continue to dwindle the population until you just have a handful of players that are content with farming content by themselves. Sounds like fun.

How about working on something to prevent all this low level greifing. Yes twinks with a Mithril Two hander and 130 MR are going to win against a fine steel morning star and banded everytime. Why grief the shit out of all the new players that come to our server.

"Dude watch me root this new guy on mobs." Our population is so low because we make this a place only for the truly insane. Who would want to start here with the number of retards that have twinks from 10-39 who will just grief you in any way possible every single time they see you.

Its the equivilent of a full grown lion hunting a gazelle with no legs. No sport - no fun. If this keeps up and I believe its already to late since there is a bad taste in so many peoples mouths then we will dwindle to nothing.

I am all for more content and YT is atleast worth a shot, but lets get a handle on not making this a rape fest for new players as well!

I'm not against exp bonuses, exp tweaks regarding hybrids and so forth, but the same stale content isn't going to bring new people. Truth is, we don't mind the present content (pof/poh/pos), but not everyone is there, the present competition is pretty flaky, and many people simply dont have the time to raid it. Thus, it leaves the rest of Norrath a virtual ghost town. Hundreds of people have come and gone through r99's classic content. Kunark on the other hand, isn't just raid content (though several idiots are pretending it is); in fact, initially its not raid content at all, but a lot of stuff everyone can enjoy and compete over. Its content that the masses can participate in, from 1-60, rather than just the hardcore that want to raid.

Contrary to what the trolls say, we want content everyone can enjoy and pvp over while the opposition wants to beach r99 here so they can finally muster up the manpower to "win classic" (u already lost).

We pvp every time the opposition can muster up a force (unlike Fartbrand who hides out farming cash and pixels unless he thinks he has 100% chance of pvp victory). Problem is, any time we look to fight outside of dragons, the opposition all logs out and runs to the forums about how we bluebies are the only ones online "farming pixels uncontested".

The servers down to a couple dozen casuals, a few people who haven't leveled up yet and two hardcore guilds who raid and pvp. The other 80% of the population left, aside from various personal qualms, because they were done with what was available in classic. Its easy to grow discontent when you have nothing left but GvG pvp and Planes, and you don't have the time or desire to do either. That crowd is alienated.

You can put all the icing on classic EQ you want, fact is, kunark is the cake and classic has gone stale for most players. The only people contrary are those who showed up late, or who've been stomped on for months. Keep trying to find ways to resurrect classic so you can finally win what you've already lost. Fact is, most of you are so full of shit, its coming out your ears. Last night 15-20 of you knew exactly where Nihilum was, but what did you do? You chose to go to plane of hate instead of attacking us in fear. Bunch of big talking pussies who can't put their money where their mouth is.

Im willing to bet theres less,people griefed off the server by twinks than people that quit due to slow ass exp. In fact, I havent seen a NEW player in the 20s for over a month. Its all alts.
