she asked for ice water here at the clinic so i went to get it and the little machine they have - specifically for the immunocompromised - spit out ice in addition to a black disc of fungus or bacteria.

yeesh, had to tell them about that. i have seen it before at houses, i imagine most of us would be grossed out if we got to see cutaways of the pipes our water moves through.
