Lol. See that’s the type of creativity I’m talking about. With Trump losing, the memes will only get better.

Although I was really hoping black beanie/green rain coat girl was going to scream in agony again. The memes..... the memes.

Oh man I love slavery!

I mean not love love, but I love what slavery has done for me!

For example my people were sold as slaves by Jewish slave traders as far back as the 10th century but it was cautioned that while we were hard workers we were not fit to work in the heat, being from the north and all. It was specifically mentioned we should not be sold in warmer climates if they expected us to live long.

That's too bad because in Tuscany they had songs about their slaves:

Le schiavette amorose
Scotendo le robe la mattina
Fresche e gioiose come fior di spina

(The charming little slave-girls
Shaking out the clothes in the morning
As fresh and joyful as hawthorn buds)

Imagine being a slave, and you're shaking out the clothes and a warm breeze pours into town as the bright Tuscan sun starts to rise over the red-shingled roofs and your owner comes out on the balcony and starts to sing and soon everyone is singing that song and then they rape you.

See that area that says 'popoli slavi'? Those arrows are slave trade routes. They took the 'slavi' and then they marched their asses all over the place:

The best thing is when I look at this map I see they were sent to North Africa, and Egypt, and India. So that means they were just sent there as short-term expendable workers. Because we don't do well in the heat. Fuck it they work hard, we'll get more later. Some Maharaja or Sultan whipping my ancient kin to death to build him some fucking palace.

Nice!

I didn't know all this but as I am a keen student of social trends I noticed somewhere around two decades ago it became very fashionable to argue from oppression. Your argument could only be valid if you were in a position to speak your truth from your lived experience and those had better contain lots of really horrible things that happened to you or your people.

I knew the Slavs were always getting smacked around by the forces of history, but I didn't think I could get any traction with Austrio-Hungarian oppression and the Teutonic Knights until I found a new pathway to victory; slavery.

Yes, slavery! I had no idea my people were The Slaves until they found some that could work in the heat better. Some people even think the word slave comes from Slav, and I'm very careful not to disabuse people of that notion as it serves my needs.

I don't even wait, it's my opener. "As you all know, being the descendant of the most enslaved people in human history, and suffering from lightbulb and ladder-based discrimination here in racist America, I feel the need to speak my truth, and that is while James' proposal has some merit, the majority of the budget needs to be apportioned to [my current manager]'s department so we can finally achieve equity."

That's how you get ahead in today's America!

Best is when some know-it-all-African-American starts going on about how racist oppression is giving him the heebie-jeebies and then I just yawn and "As you might not know...". I carry that little map all folded up in the back of my dad jeans because you never know when someone gets uppity.

Oh man it was a good day at the range today! Sun was shining, 63 degrees, very little wind.

That's a .50 caliber Thompson-Center Omega with a Bushnell Elite 3200 Firefly scope.

It sends 300 grains of copper-jacketed lead down range at 2036 feet per second, it hits with 2700 ft lbs of force and is very accurate.

It also takes 1 minute to reload because it's a muzzleloader [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

What's the benefit of a muzzle loader? Or is it just fun/cool to do?

bingo!

I knew nothing was going to happen today. No one calling or declaring, no riots and no coup or counter-coup.

Today was my recharge day. Sun and gun!

It's a limiting challenge too. Like with a shotgun or a rifle, I can just keep squeezing the trigger. If I give it my all I can shove the next bullet into the dirty barrel and be up again in 20 seconds, but a deer only needs 3 to be out of range.

Also, when I say it's accurate, I mean for a muzzleloader.

This is a 75 meter group below I shot earlier. That would be embarrassing for a centerfire rifle but I'll take an inch and a quarter at that distance any day with a smokepole.

Wait wat?

I thought slavery was only black people in America. Tik tok told me so.

Oh, here's Fippy.

This is also at 75 meters but if you figure the 'real' Fippy is four feet tall and my target was 7 inches then these are 500 meter shots.

I took out his knees first before the coup-de-grace [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

So....Georgia?

Did I miss something?
