You are right, cockblocking (having a look at all those trak tooth again please [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]) in order to preserve anyone from entering a zone with BiS items of an expansion is even worse than being loot whores, it's grieving other folks from their fun and their passion for discovering new content ! Items are part of it, they are the little cherry on top of all the team work and time invested.

TR locked the server down and gave 0 fucks about other guilds.

Basically what TMO did for a year, which is fine since they were unchallenged. Now they're just trying to cockblock VP as much as possible, which I can understand, 'cause when everyone is gonna enter it it's gonna be one massive clusterfuck once again and no one is going to win, just a lot of experience and time will be lost.

I was able to join TR as TMO was already kicking in.

Also if you read other threads you will also see I stated a lot of TRs disagreed with the lock down (just like I dissed the RMTers without giving any name but Kinsawt's) for which I got some heat from ex guildies.

So, I'm sorry, but your argument is just wrong.
