I'd be scraping my cheeks for weeks to get enough cells to get that much DNA. You need to realize that it takes a billion or so cells to get about 20 nanograms. Cells don't have to divide to have a nucleus or DNA. Both erythrocytes and leukocytes definitely have a nucleus and DNA.
