Dell rails are really nice and a little expensive. But if you have a rack designed for them they just snap in you don't have to bother with screws and other annoyances. And if you have a rack that has to have them screwed in you just flip over the end of the rails and it works with that too. They are quite nice. Come with a cute little cable management arm and a nifty little light on a dongle so you can see if the server is having issues from the back of the rack too (it glows amber instead of blue).

Anyway, so long as the time frame isn't "never" I am happy lol.

I can over night some rails is it a 2 U box? Mine are from HP boxes though.

Yeah I actually have some dell rapid/versa (whatever the fuck they were calling them then) rails from a PE2850 sitting here under my bed I just remembered lol. Not sure if the pins on the side of an R710 are the same though. La de da.

Awright, someone send him the rails, along with any other server-rack-whatever shit he might need, so that I and many others can spend this Friday night, and weekend, playing Classic Everquest, instead of going out and partying and getting laid like all of those pop culture weirdos. THANK YOU!
