THJ really shot themselves in the foot by implementing all the changes that Live EQ players wanted. They created a space where people who were tired of the same old TLP Experience could go and feel like they had a game made just for them.

Man, it really sucks to build something that people like. DBG probably gonna win this case, and will probably implement THJ changes in future servers.

Eh, its ok. It will suck if DBG shuts it down, but nothing about modding has ever been forever to me. T his was always a dream come true—and this is real life not a dream.

DBG has to win this case, it's cut and dry IMO. It's their IP. If they want THJ or any mod shut down, then it should be shut down.

Im still holding out hope that DBG makes so little with EQ compared to costs that going to court for it would be a net loss even if they won, so they just give up if one of these EMUs actually wants to fight them.

What THJ did for those "players" was the equivalent of giving candy to babies. Sure they like it, but its not good for them.

DBG are the adults and is a ganme for adults. I say let the babies go have their THJ server. Classic eq is better off without them.

It's a different mentality, which is why I play on p99 and had no interest in THJ - but to someone like me, I can't understand the joy of playing a game basically in God mode.

The grind of classic EQ is what makes me enjoy the progression and achievments so much. To each their own, I suppose.
