unlock Velious, get to 56 (where AA exp is peaking), pull all of DN aoe it down every 10 minutes.. get 1k AA's in a few hours.

then

unlock Luclin, pull all of UP (umbral plains), aoe the swarm down, loot absolutely every item, vendor it all, make 6-8k every 15min. It really helps to bind target nearest corpse to a key then also bind that same key to a hotbar position and use the loot macro from the wiki.

the above strat, pulling an entire zone, really requires having a bard as one of your classes. the two rune songs you can play by 56, shield of song & nillipus march of the wee, completely negate around 180 points of damage you would otherwise take.

which makes the spiders and goos in DN never do a single point of damage to you, and the rats do like 1 to 20 points of damage, nothing regen can't cover. mobs in UP will similarly hit for like 5-30 i think?? again, nothing regen can't cover.. given that with ok gear you can get to around 120hp/tick regen.

Traditionally you're right, but on stream the dev said that he bumps up against that idea of losing the character so on THJ the character will simply no longer be flagged as hardcore but you get to keep the character.

What's the point of hardcore then?

I wish THJ wasn't so ugly. I know it feels super dumb saying that about EverQuest of all games, but I really can't stand how the """new""" orcs/kobolds/etc look.

I know there are patches to replace some of em with the old models, but bleh, I just can't get over the ones that are left.

Too bad as it looks really fun! And being able to have a troll bard was always a dream of mine!

With invigorate BP is easy too.

Rog invigorate click is 1.5 sec but wiz is 3.8 8( however the wiz epic is 3.0 1k rune which works out ok.

Yeah agree.. it almost felt like a different game to me though, and i was thihnking how I just love EQ gameplay so much that its ok.

However #tim will switch most of the NPCs to classic models!

And you can run some github files for all your pets and stuff... (linked earlier ITT)

and you just have to put up with the wacky shit you see players using in the bazaar.

I look SO cool in my classic gear, but nobody knows, cus thety all usin luclin models lol

I almost changed my gnome race cus the BST pet was so ugly.. but i got a scarecrow pet click that is permanent, so that works.

Oh nice, I didn't know about #tim. Lots of #commands apparently! Now that I know about it, I found it hidden away in an FAQ page, which doesn't list #auto-skill. Is there a good list of all the #commands?

it might be /autoskill list for that one.. but i think its the former.

It should show what you can enable, and what is and isn't.
