Anyway, math is math is math. Math self-selects precise measurements that work according to laws that eventually Newton conceptualized how to mathematically express in his calculus.

This is the flow chart of human evolutionary history:
  1. humans as a large whole, follow their tech around
  2. tech follows science
  3. science follows mathematical order.

One could say, "Oh so humans follow around the idea of mathematical order" but that is not correct. In some poetic sense we do, or the very rare geniuses do (Pythagoras? Newton?), but this is a noisy, indirect, and inefficient system. But it works.

Agreed, the vast majority of humans are simply utilizers of said technology, irrelevant of it's mathematical roots, perfectly content with dismissing the understanding of why and how things function the way they do.

They'll ridicule you for being "stupid" (not agreeing with them), or, when you rationalize your position using precise terminology, they'll ridicule for sounding smart(er than them).

Francis Bacon was a Rosicrucianist. Rosicrucianism is based upon the concept of Idealism, opining that the mind makes the objective reality we share, and thus, is capable of reifying subjectivism into objectivism; it's not exactly a "scientific" belief system. It's akin to Law of Attraction concepts touted in public Noosphere by motivational speakers like Tony Robbins today.

Ultimately, rosicrucianism is very closely related to the new age Christian belief in prosperity doctrine; except the manifesting force is fulfilled by one's self, instead of God. Both faith systems posit that manifestation is "baked into the cosmic system" with only the agent of that manifestation differing.

The difference between "God" being that agent, and one's own self's "magical thoughts" is, unironically, schizotypal thinking.

Have you ever read Liebniz?
Actually, to not blow off your post.

Here is my simple interjection that, naturally, kind of changes what could logically follow next, and really, helps tame this beast you seem to have got barnacled onto you. The intervention comes early.

No. I can go on, or I can just say, no, let's get this over with. So here we go. Here is the early error corrected: "opining that the mind mirrors the objective reality we share" Not "make." Change term. "Mirror."

At that point, the problem is crystal clear and there is no time to bandy about "could Oprah understand this?" [NO].

Mirror of what? What are we seeing in this "mirror" that is how our mind works? If sciencce is a "mirror" of nature, that means it's just a reflection and what is nature? And what is the mirror?

CHaos is unleashed. AKA the next 200-ish years of western philosophy. It was kind of an Oppenheimer deal. The "cognitive explosition" is still going off. Woot!

Because here is what happened at the birth of modern thought (usually attributed to Decsartes but Bacon works equally well):
  1. good news all, we are confident the mind is like a mirror.
  2. ...
  3. what the fuck does that mean??

You see this, you see Kant, you see Hume, you see Hegel, of course positivism, you see even the phenomenologists, since they are *still* stuck on the "wtf is a mirror?" deal.

Only possible person who escaped? Dick Rorty, whom I've had the pleasure of meeting once a long time ago. But I think he just gets people to forget his "and that's fuckin it" part cuz he was a swell guy. A charmer. No nihilist he. Leibniz -- no nihilist oho! I think nihilism in the precise sense is the key concept to confront and disarm this century. We got to get clear on nihilism. It's bad joojoo.

Guys, fewer than 1% of black women work on oil rigs. Exclusion, bias, harassment, racism, genocide, white supremacy, and full-blown rape persist on oil rigs.

I can't believe people fall for this shit.
