Ok tera was down tonight because of some exploit so I made a character on Al'Kabor. Seems pretty cool so far, but can't get the chase cam to work at all.

Server pop is low during off hours, so getting a group and leveling up can be hard. Many people compensate for this by leveling 2 or 3 chars at a time, so they can make their own group when they need to. Most also gladly sit out their boxes and just play their main when a group is available.

Once you figure out the install, the hardest part of getting going is probably going to be finding gear at the low levels. It's easy to fly through them with buffs, and there isn't a lot of pre-50 gear for sale in the bazaar.

Most of the class newbie gear quests are in though, and that helps a lot.

Shoot me a tell if you need some buffs or spell pp to get started - if you don't see me on Embre or Enbre /join alliance and ask if I'm around.

Yeah I made a second account. To box on Al'Kabor you have to run two different clients though, so copy your EQMac folder over to EQMac(2) and run two separate clients. It won't run two copies of the same client for some reason.

You can launch multiple clients from one install if you launch all clients before you log in.
Launch client, get past the EULA / promo screens, stop at the login screen.
Launch 2nd client, get past the EULA / promo screens, stop at the login screen.
Launch 3rd client, etc.

When all the clients are launched and at login screen, then start logging them in one by one.

I'm Euro so groups can be harder to get but it's still so much fun, lots to do and really nice people over there. And yes you dont need to install it twice you just need to create two different accounts to box, although my computer has a hissy fit any time I try.. time for an upgrade I think [You must be logged in to view images. I would seriously consider not allowing people purposely coming to project 1999 trying to pull people over to other servers. Not being mean but this is only detrimental to this great project.
