As for auto-tune, the same can be said for the number of TMO 'un nerf hoop' threads that popped up after your little drought of only getting Trak to 88%. I'm way, way too lazy to look them up, but I even think you started one. Point is, circular argument, again.

Which is why the humor, outside of Zeelot getting fiesty, was in the jab at Alarti. Subtle, not really offensive in any way, old fashioned 'zing' humor.

So angsty. One might even say mad.
The USSR used to be a threat to the USA. Germany used to be a largely hostile military nation, TR used to actually get numbers on.

All this is ancient history. What you used to be able to do doesn't matter.

Pretty sure you're missing the point Alarti.

For example.

TMO used to be able to kill Gorenaire, but now they can't. Used to doesn't matter, what matters now is they wipe on him with 54 people. This is proven by last night.

TMO used to get Trakanon kills, now the best they can pull off is 1 out of every 4. This was proven by the last 14 days.

See? It all depends on what time frame you look at, without any sort of statue of limitations, it's going to remain circular.

There's 1 statistic that is undeniable and incapable of being twisted. (Although you may make it a guild goal to twist public opinion)

And that's simply we've never had an active member of TR leave the guild to join a competitive guild, including TMO. Ever. Between the two guilds, that's about the only concrete difference. I'm not going to correlation/causation any reasons, but facts are facts.

Probably because you suck the soul out of everyone that has had the misfortune of being in your lil fraternity. Either that or the death threats (to prevent leaking your insider info stratz and stuff) scares the begeezus out of them. Hell, they probably have to sign some disclosure form that says they forfeit their account once they're done with you.

I kid. =)~

But really, I'm not sure I'd brag about your guild's death touch. Sounds to me that once a person decides TR isn't the Private Sand-Box Promised Land they signed up for they're done with the server entirely. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Maybe, could be that, seems like a bit of a stretch though for TMO marketing purposes.

I'm personally of the opinion it's a "Whelp, we beat the game, what now?" situation. We only want to play and enjoy this game with each other, we're tight knit like that. Once you get accepted, you kind of just realize there isn't another place on the server you can have as much fun. So when things start to get dull and running through the same dragon over and over doesn't take you from six to midnight, you take some time to handle your business, you play other games with each other (LoL, SC2, D3 Beta), you move forward with your real life, etc. but you don't leave. Not if you get accepted, because if you make it that far you know TR is what you're looking for.

For example, I think it was the first week of May Me, Nirron, Kira, Stefen, Bossco, Wonton, Athiyk, Skie, Daimadoshi, Shadze, Kalrei, Mady etc. all quit to some extent. You'll notice that's most of the 'First to 60 ____ Class". You'll also notice that times up real well with Nilbog getting hit by a tornado and the news leaking around that VP would be a ways off at best. The world dragons were also released then and we ran through them all as well (Server First, Server First, Server First.) And, honestly no offense, there wasn't really any competition at the time to make things fun and exciting.

So at the end of the day, we play together with the people we like and for a common purpose. When that purpose is gone (Loot/New Kills/Racing for something relevant), you take your break, but you don't bail on your friends. It's actually a very healthy way to play the game, all things considered. The new friends we roll in to the mix keep the guild moving forward and when new content comes out, everyone dives back in (see: Sky, Kunark, World Dragons, The Hole).

So, maybe you're right, maybe everyone just gets beaten down into oblivion by having fun raiding and achieving everything they wanted to in classic and they just fade away and come back like a battered housewife every time new content comes out. Or maybe you're just afraid of what you may be missing out on and don't want to acknowledge that something ballin like TR exists, so you deny the facts and project.
