Still doesn't address the question of long term side effects, which can't possibly be known until the covid vaccines have existed in the long term. We currently have about *one* year of good data on them at scale. It's scientifically incoherent to declare they are safe. At best you can say "They seem to be safe, so far", which is fine. But the disease they are supposed to prevent is also not very dangerous. Yes people have died from it, just as people die from the flu, and I still just want to know how many masks you wore in 1998 for the flu season? Just to check and see if this is politically motivated, ya know?

I think the literature does say Covid vaccines cause myocarditis in males at something like 7/100,000 doses

That's the whole issue here really, covid and the covid vaccines are both a flash in the pan timeline wise. What most people are concerned with is the sort of lazy, unquestioning certainty with which the vaccines are pushed.

And again, their favorite mantra is "follow the science", and then a dude who holds patents on mrna tech (meaning he's probably a good scientist) has reservations about the the hasty deployment of the covid vaccines and gets banned from every imaginable platform overnight. The idea any of this is "scientific" is absurd.

I mean, risk of death from covid plummets rapidly in direct correlation to youth; the younger you are, the less risk it poses. Yet they recommend the vaccine for like 6 month old babies now. That, itself, is wildly unscientific. It's more like how apple keeps encouraging you to buy a new iphone even though you don't need one than anything resembling public health.
