DeSantis is by far the best governor in the US right now.

He's a perfect candidate.

DeSantis could definitely beat Kamala Harris Horza, you don’t know how swing voters like myself think

Biden has not been moderate, Dems at least lose AZ. Put Georgia in play (desantis will), and it’s a coin flip

Doesn’t matter though, Trump will run and get toasted in 2024. If he let DeSantis run I think republicans have a real shot

Conservatives are sticking with the Biden isn't a moderate and AOC is the secret shadow president narrative even after losing the House, the Senate, and the White House?

I agree. That bunch can get bent. Pushing 20 years on, we're still living with the fallout of that group's corrupt administration.

Even if he is, there's a real threat of "peaking too early." Americans have short term memories and 2024 is a long ways off. He could well be yesterday's news by then.

You think Ted Cruz will go quietly into the night for desantis??

lol you think trump is not going to try to come back, possibly split the party?? Hes sick, he has to run. Its the only way he makes money.

Not the mention the other republicans who hate trump and are threatening to create a new party. The Qanon half and the sane half are getting along pretty well but thats only for now.. Once the knifes come out during the next cycle, republicans are done for.

Americans know what they are now. They have seen it. You lost GA and damn near lost TEXAS. Republicans are the sick man of american politics.

Same “blue wall” bs they said during the Obama years, then the Midwest went BIGLY for trump. This is a purple country, once inflation hits and Biden is holding the bag for a bad economy, DeSantis could easily win. And he could win precisely because the sane republicans and trump fans both like him. He’s the natural heir apparent

That’s all incumbent upon Trump stepping aside though, which has a snowball’s chance in hell of happening

Who knows

didnt read this thread but if this means he's the only one here mad at israel, im not surprised. Fuck an expansionist apartheid state. Or a drunken & coopted elite ceding the rights to land, providing neolibs liek u the indulgence to side with imperium. Let's be honest, Israel is all territory taken by force with a subject population and all "defensive" violence is painted with imperial treachery.

They should feel humiliated to be fired upon by their unhappy dependents. Far too humiliated to take artillery to their cities. No, it's unrepentant racial imperium

There is nothing remotely moderate about completely restructuring the Supreme Court by adding extra justices so that your party can get a majority they didn’t earn the legitimate way. Then having the gall to claim “court packing” isn’t what they were planning, and instead meant filling existing vacant seats like Ruth’s with conservative justices. Luckily to my knowledge this hasn’t happened yet. But it seemed to be in the works

Nor would it be moderate to remove the filibuster, but once again, proposed but not accomplished to my knowledge

Biden’s spending amounts has not been all that moderate, in terms of fiscal responsibility. And hey, check it out, inflation is shooting up: https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.nyt...l%3f0p19G=6214

(POLITIFACT CHECK: click here to see why inflation spikes are a good thing)

Most of my liberal friends say the same thing. “Biden is a moderate bro”. So I ask them “oh does this mean you are a moderate? That’s refreshing, I bet we can find some common ground”. Their response: “oh fuck no, I’m progressive. We have no common ground. But Biden’s not”

Weird that so many hardcore fat lefts support a “moderate” completely unlike them

Also Trump better not run, he’s too fucking old. We don’t need another half-senile bag of bones as President. Trump’s best position would be to lend support to whoever he thinks is best of the candidates who DO run. To the GOP, that will matter
