Was 2 months btw. But PoP isn't the challenging content. GoD should be good, specifically Uqua and Inktuta where everyone on your raid has to pay attention and you can't just be carried by 10 competent people. RSS King/Queen and Jelvan/OMM in OoW will be good. Vishimtar in DoN will be good. Sendaii/Draygun, Hatchet, Redfang, Performer and Mayong in Demiplane will all be awesome. Beltron and Lethar 2.0 are pretty cool. Basically every event in Solteris is amazing and challenging...

I feel like way too many people never actually experienced post-PoP raid content and have no idea what it entails. It became far more complex than "have a CH chain and Slow the mob", which is unfortunately what all Velious content boils down to.

Even Luclin/PoP had a few more complex events that required some brain cells be rubbed together.

If you're poopsocking your 80th Zlandicar or trying to acquire your 13th Scout Charissa turnin, I highly suggest joining Phinigel and experience some post-PoP raid content. You won't regret it.

Love how jcr4990 is on these forums religiously trash talking the people who play here and the server in a feeble attempt to recruit people to his poop server?

It's weird how he does the same thing over and over.

Like, it's not hard to rustle people in an rnf forum, like no challenge at all, the same thing over and over. Yet he just keeps coming back.....

Weird....there is a connection here somehow.....why would someone do the same shit, that's not challenging, over and over.....

Wait a minute......

jcr4990 confirmed hypocrite

Did you guys ever play DnD online? There was a raid on there called the abbot. I wish those mechanics was in EQ. The best part aside from the final fight is halfway your raid gets split into two with two people being up in the center of the room who picks up a pair of glasses that reveal the floor just to the guy with the glasses and they then have to verbalize how to move the raid on invisible tiles that change.

Any type of those mechanics ever added? I'm tempted alil bit just to see non typical eq encounters. What makes uqua diff? Pardon my ignorance daldaen but I was ran thru most raids long ago and I mostly only remember up till luclin.

Wasn't there was some riddle you had to answer in Uqua to open a door or something? It was randomly sent to 1 member of your raid and you had so many seconds to answer before it changed. You miss the riddle and a aoe went off wiping your raid or something like that i recall. People were scared to death to speak up when they got the riddle so you would sit and sit until someone got the balls to speak up.

You're talking about the gas chambers. I think there are three in the zone.

Basically everyone has to enter the room in your raid and the door closes, then every 10 seconds two people in your raid receive an emote. One person gets an emote that lists two keys, one person gets an emote that lists one key. The person with the one key emote has to speak up and have the raid leader use that key to open the door. If you have some derps in your guild who can't read and speak up when they got the fake emote you get chain PBAEd and most of your raid dies, losing the zonewide debuffs Cure banes they previously looted.

Too many wipes can make the final fight unwinnable when you don't have enough people cured of the zonewide AE.

Uqua + Demiplane zonewide AEs were incredible designs. Demiplane especially because it makes the zone hard as hell to do your first run through and allows you to farm enough blockers eventually to make farm mode while you wait for the next expansion, quite a bit easier.

Sounds like you haven't been outside in quite some time.

How many hoops you gotta jump through to get to Quarm compared to Aow/Tunare? /chuckle

QUARM DEAD IN 3 DAYS

you really need to let that sink in and wake up

Rushing to do quarm in 3 days is dumb and those guys are probably bored.

Take your time, progress through the expansions at your own pace. Thats kind of the point of the server.
