I've said this before, but if you are a good racer (as opposed to someone who just stands on the line soaking DKP) Rustle will give you more pixels for your time than anyone else.

Imagine how much loot Quean for example would have if he had the option to get his choice of Vulak loot for 25 DKP (~300 DKP in the Awakened system) every time he FTE'd Vulak.

We work out agreements with each guild we ally with to ensure everyone is happy with the distribution in the long run, so it varies from mob to mob.

If another guild gets first pick but the FTE'er was <Rustle>, the FTE'er can exercise their loot right over the item allocated to their guild based on the agreement.

Specific to Kael/ToV, if an FTE'er does not exercise their loot right, they can instead take a 5 dkp bonus (provided the mob was a successful kill).

1 dkp = 1 raid or 1 hour of raiding. We do not award dkp for tracking/warm bodies on the line.

ToV is a nice to have, but not something we grind meat over getting a couple of pixels.

No Vulaks have yet been slain under this system due to Fingerz dropping half the zone on us 5 minutes before we were ready to engage. His continued membership is an embarrassment to your guild. Also Snacks is really our only racer/socker at the moment.

Currently for joint kills the racer/socker still gets his pick. We killed Lady Nevederia a month or two ago in the morning with Aftermath and Snacktician (2nd main!) got the Cloak of Thorns for 25 DKP; Aftermath got the rest.

I do think this system can create a conflict of interest between the racer/socker and the guild. If the guild has say a 75% chance to win, then the guild as a whole wins by engaging solo (1.5 expected items) but the racer/socker loses (0.75 expected items rather than 1.0, though they would get the +5 DKP bonus for FTE without taking an item). However, if Rustle grows/improves a bit this won't be a problem. Plus, we warm bodies do have more fun killing stuff without an 80 man zerg even if we don't have a shot at every particular pixel.
