Lefties will have a problem with this though because it's not a "transcript."

A telcon isn't a verbatim transcript of a discussion. The text in the documents records the notes and recollections of Situation Room Duty officers and NSC policy staff assigned to listen and memorialize the conversation in written form as the conversation takes place. In other words Presidents stopped taping conversations a long time ago so only notes are taken. These transcriptions are handled by professionals. Think of court transcribers who can type everything word for word in real time. They won't type all of the "Uhhh, ahhh ,ummms" but its done in real time so some words may be missed or minor errors. There isn't going to be a longer version than this telcon lol.


Here's the transcript people are having a fuss over:

Later during the hearing Schiff said:

“My summary of the president’s call was meant to be at least part in parody,” Schiff tried to clarify. “Of course the president never said if I — if you don’t understand me, I’ll say it seven more times.”
