This is much ado about nothing. He's gonna plead not guilty to the 30 misdemeanors and even if found guilty of them will pay a fine.

There's no way the DA will prove this is related to campaign financing. He's fishing for higher charges which is much different than seeing proof of higher charges.

It's a bunch of misdemeanors related to business paperwork (at least as far as we know). Not hard to convict on that and not a big deal if convicted.
